ABOUT ME
My name is Andrea.
I live in Waterloo region in Ontario, Canada. I am an artist. I create in acrylics, watercolor, and ink on paper, wood or canvas. But I want to do so much more. I am a born experimenter.
What I think about when I create:
Right now I am exploring. I experiment in different mediums and on different substrates. I am just developing my printmaking skills and my acrylic painting practice is always a priority.
I believe in the transformative power of making and viewing art and really enjoy trying to find ways to work out and express my ideas and history. The inspiration around me is endless and I feel privileged to have a life that allows me to create and learn.
I am new to the art community in my area.
I am taking a journey into territory I have never explored before and it is a bit scary but incredibly exciting. My journey is authentic and I hope people can relate to my experience. I want to discover and connect with this community where I live and play. I want to know that I am not alone and help others feel like they are not alone either.
