Acrylic paintings are most commonly painted on canvas mounted to a wooden frame. The canvas wraps around the wooden structure and is stapled to the back. This is referred to as "gallery wrapped".
Any gallery wrapped canvas may be framed or left unframed and hung directly.
Watercolour portraits or acrylic portraits on paper are also available. Please request a quote from the artist for pricing. These types of paintings can be framed in regular glass fronted frames.

1.5 inch deep wrapped canvas
This depth of canvas looks well left unframed and can be more difficult to frame depending on the look the buyer is trying to achieve. Leaving a canvas of this type unframed with painted or white sides achieves a modern aesthetic.

0.75 inch wrapped canvas
This depth of canvas is more likely to be displayed in a frame but can also be hung unframed. Floating frames are modern and look beautiful in all types of settings. See the photo below for an image that includes a floating frame. Floating frames are usually available in natural, white, black or dark wood stain.
Traditional molded framing is best handled by the buyer since there is a huge variety of options and costs vary widely. If you have an existing frame you would like to use, be sure to measure it precisely to ensure the right fit.

Floating frames are simple and make the canvas appear to be floating within a box. Frames can always be removed and replaced and do not damage the front or sides of the canvas.
